Gil Real Estate Holdings LLC is a veteran-owned real estate investment company based in Upstate New York. Founded in March 2026, we acquire and responsibly manage residential real estate with a long-term investment mindset — building a portfolio that creates real value for our tenants, our communities, and the veterans who deserve a place to call home.
Our mission is to grow a disciplined, diversified portfolio of properties across Upstate New York and beyond — grounded in the values of integrity, accountability, and long-term commitment.

We are actively growing our rental property portfolio, focused on single-family and small multifamily housing. Each property is held with a long-term mindset — maintained with integrity and managed to deliver stable, quality living environments for our residents.

We are actively building our portfolio across Upstate New York, with our sights set on multifamily and mixed-use properties — and more is coming. But our vision goes beyond real estate. As a veteran-owned company, we are working toward something deeply personal: a dedicated community built for those who served. A place where veterans — especially those who are displaced or in need — can find stable housing, real support, and the dignity they have earned. Every property we add brings us one step closer to that mission. While our current focus is Upstate New York, our long-term vision is to grow beyond state lines — acquiring properties in key markets and building the systems to manage them responsibly from anywhere. This is just the beginning.
About the Founder
Jonathan Gil — U.S. Navy Veteran | Founder & Principal
Jonathan Gil spent eight years serving in the United States Navy as a Military Police officer, including multiple deployments to the Middle East in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Serving aboard the USS Peleliu (LHA-5) — an amphibious assault ship — he deployed to key strategic locations including Pakistan and Bahrain, gaining firsthand experience operating in high-stakes environments far from home. During his service, Jonathan worked jointly alongside federal agencies including Border Patrol, NCIS, the CIA, and the Secret Service — assignments that demanded the highest levels of trust, discretion, and professionalism. Like many veterans, he came home with more than a service record — he returned with discipline, a long-term mindset, and a relentless drive to build something meaningful.
Before turning his focus fully to real estate, Jonathan built a professional career in the pharmaceutical industry, working in Quality Assurance with some of the most recognized names in the field — including AbbVie, Johnson & Johnson, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Regeneron. Quality Assurance is a discipline that demands precision, strict regulatory compliance, and an unwavering attention to detail. That same mindset carries directly into how Gil Real Estate Holdings LLC operates: every acquisition, every tenant relationship, and every business decision is approached with the same rigor, process discipline, and accountability that defined his professional career.
After completing his service, Jonathan transitioned into the private sector while pursuing his education in business management. The values he carried in uniform — integrity, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to doing things right — became the foundation of everything he built in civilian life.
Real estate became the vehicle, but the mission runs deeper. Jonathan founded Gil Real Estate Holdings LLC with a vision that goes far beyond building a portfolio. He wants to create something that gives back to the community that gave him so much — a dedicated housing community for veterans, with a special focus on providing support and stable housing to displaced veterans who have sacrificed everything.
Service didn’t end when he left the Navy. It just took a different form.
